One of the simplest ways to add rustic charm to a woodsy wedding is with natural materials like, well, wood! From woodsy tree slice centerpieces to pretty birch candle holders, today’s spotlight vendor – That Family Shop - offers a wide variety of rustic wedding decor. What makes their shop extra special is that each piece is handcrafted by the Lund family from selectively harvested wood grown on their 50-acre eco-friendly farm in Michigan. Check out some of our favorites below – and read on to enter our giveaway for a one-of-a-kind rustic jewelry box! **Note: This giveaway is now closed**
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day and upcoming wedding season, That Family Shop has agreed to give away one of their beautiful wooden heart-shaped jewelry boxes to a lucky Woodsy Weddings reader. I’ve got the box pictured in the first photo, and I absolutely love it! If you like, they’ll even customize your box with an engraved name, set of initials, date, favorite saying or whatever you wish.
From the outside, the ring box looks like a rustic tree slice (it looks super cute as part of a table or dresser display). But on the inside is a secret carved heart compartment perfect for stowing valuables or serving as a sweet keepsake spot for wedding mementos.
**Giveaway Closed**
To enter, just leave a comment below telling us what you’d put in your heart-shaped box – and that’s it! Giveaway is open through Wednesday, Feb. 13. Be sure to check back next week when we announce a randomly selected winner!

What I would put in my box is ; my engagement ring, the first love letter he ever wrote me, and the date of our wedding.

Let me first say that not only do I love this box, but my fiancé would be crazy about this! He is just starting to do wood work and admires all things of this sort! And with our rustic feel this would be perfect! In this box I would put the rings for the ring bearer later I would use it to store the necklace he made me our first Christmas together 6 years ago. I rarely take it off and when I do I am scared I will lose it. Perfect place to store it!

LOVE this! We are getting married in April and we would have our ring bearer (our 2 year old nephew) carry it down the aisle with our wedding bands! We are getting married outside because we love nature and the care free feel! Please choose me!

I would give this jewelry box to my sister, Jessi, on her wedding day. She is marrying her best friend, Matt, who I already consider my big brother. The two of them are one of a kind, just like this jewelry box. She wanted a more outdoorsy themed wedding, but was having a difficult time bringing the theme alive. She was born in Tennessee (living in MA now) and wanted to incorporate the outdoors into her wedding. This jewelry box would be the perfect gift I, her made of honor, could give her and her future husband (and my future big brother-in-law). Inside this wonderful jewelry box, I would put my gift to her, which is a string of pearls, as well as my gift to her future husband, a pair of custom cuff links. I think the gift box itself would be the most incredible gift that she could possibly get. Thank you!

Sarah Misko February 8, 2013 at 7:03 pm
After my little ring bearer uses it to carry our rings down the aisle, we would put the love letters we’ve written eachother and all the little notes that have come with the flowers he’s sent me on our anniversaries, the cufflinks from Scott’s (my fiance) tux on our wedding day, and the necklace he gave me on our 1 year anniversary. We wouldn’t use it for our rings after the wedding, but that’s only because we’d never take them off!

I love the ring box! My husband and I are renewing our vows March 2014 and I would use the box in our ceremony to hold our rings as the ring bearer brings them down the aisle. Once home, the box would hold special pictures from that day!

I would put the names of all the people that supported, loved, laughed with, and gave life long advice to Kyle and me during our engagement. Our friends and family mean so much to us and we’re so happy to include them in our wedding this spring! We wouldn’t be us without them!

That is so cute!! I would store my pearl earrings from my Grandpa in the box – he passed away several years ago, and they’re one of the only things I have from him and I treasure them a lot.
