I like the idea of a woodsy wedding with a bit of 1970s influence. In my mind, the 70s were all about earth tones, natural fiber like cotton and knits like crochet, and a bohemian, folksy vibe – perfectly suited for a laid-back outdoor wedding. (Of course, the 70s also involved lots of polyester and disco – but I like to reject that reality and substitute my own).
I guess these dresses and accessories are my version of 1970s style – chic, cool, and casual. They seem perfectly suited for a bride with her hair down, maybe wearing a crown of fresh flowers, on a warm summer day in the grass. I’m really digging the short long-sleeve vintage dress from Etsy and the crochet Toms. What’s your favorite?
